    互联网真的是互连互通的么？ 

    至少在中国不是。

    家里宽带用的是上海东方有线的有线通，这几天gmail特别慢，基本上不可用，我就纳闷，白天在公司用得好好的，为什么到了晚上在家里就那么慢，听xuer说也有同样问题，还以为是撞墙了。
    但是gmail是日常工具，没了几乎没法工作了，于是就尝试一下找个代理上，结果发现就算通过国内其他ISP代理出去，也比有线通直接连快得多!
    原来访问比较慢的像dreamhost上面的机器也可以用这种方法解决，我现在就在通过一个中国移动的socks5代理写这个帖子。

    不知道是不是有线通的出国主干还有几条海底光缆没修好。

    Update：昨天中国电信宣布海底光缆修好了，今天在家Gmail好像就访问正常了。不过白天在公司网络不大正常，据说是“熊猫烧香”惹的祸。熊猫烧香

      中国移动官方提供的Socks5么？ 方便公布么？

      不是中国移动的官方代理，是放在中国移动机房里托管的一台机器，用putty开的Socks5代理
